(b. 2000, Bangladesh)
Documentary photographer and drone pilot capturing people and places through perspective, light, and motion.
The Narrative Lens
Ananto Biswas Utshow is a documentary photographer and drone pilot from Bangladesh. Since 2018, his lens - both on the ground and in the air - has served as his voice, capturing the essence of people and places through a distinctive blend of perspective, light, and motion.
Working as a freelance documentary photographer in the development sector, he combines technical precision with visual storytelling to create impactful imagery. He has collaborated with national NGOs and international organizations, documenting communities and social realities across Bangladesh, including the Rohingya settlements in Cox's Bazar.
Through his work, Ananto seeks not only to document moments but also to inspire empathy, raise awareness, and build meaningful human connections through visual narratives.
